An Opinion On “‘Jersey Shore’ Cast Finds Culture Clash in Italy”
I guess with only 4 recommendations you could call it weak.
I grew up in NNJ, Newark to be exact, in the 50s and 60s, and I went to high school with the same people who are in the Jersey Shore show; if I spent some time on it I could give you their original names. Maybe if I look at my 25th reunion picture they will come to mind. However, they did not live on the Jersey Shore at that time; their parents, AKA The Originals, made that life possible for them. The Jersey Shore people are the entitled spawn of hard working Italian Americans. To say that watching Jersey Shore or the Real Housewives of NJ is bigoted is ridiculous; as ridiculous as watching either of those shows. The Sopranos was quite another thing however; also not bigoted, but worth watching. I grew up amongst all of that, so this is more than IMO; it is very emphatic IME.
